Design Seed is up and growing
Visit design_seed, my virtual textile design studio hosted by Spoonflower. There you can see textile designs inspired by my watercolor paintings and "like" your favorites. The designs are available on fabric and home décor items including placemats, napkins, pillows and duvet cover. Follow design_seed and watch the creativity grow. https://www.spoonflower.com/profiles/design_seed
I am pleased and honored to announce that my painting Spiral Greens, currently featured on the lindadallas4art homepage, has been acquired by the City of Raleigh for the Municipal Art Collections.
Alice Street Screening and Panel Discussion
On Saturday October 29, 2022 at 2:00 pm, I will be participating in a panel discussion on public art at the North Carolina Museum of Art. The discussion will follow the screening of the documentary Alice Street. Use the link below to register for the free event.
Give Black Raleigh Her Flowers
I am delighted to be pictured in the Black Oak Society's exhibition Give Black Raleigh Her Flowers curated by Courtney Napier. The exhibit is on display through June 25 at Anchorlight Raleigh. I am honored to have my portrait on the wall along-side these wonderful women who make the world turn.
Public Art Public Memory
On February 5, I was pleased to moderate this discussion with distinguished panelists living and working in the College Park area. I hope their insights inspire the artists working on the New Bern Avenue BRT Public Art Project. If you missed the conversation, a recording is posted on the Raleigh Arts Facebook page.
