BIOGRAPHY

Linda Dallas is an artist and illustrator living and working in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her vibrant watercolors celebrate the correlations and connections found in nature and emphasize what is visually extraordinary in the ordinary things that grace our daily lives.  

 

She has taught at schools and art centers across North Carolina including North Carolina State University, Meredith College, and Artspace. In 2014 Linda taught a six-week watercolor course in the Czech Republic for N. C. State University’s Prague Institute.

 

Linda was a Raleigh Arts Commissioner from 2012 - 2018. She chairs the City of Raleigh Public Art and Design Board, serves on the Collection Committee for the North Carolina Museum of Art, and is the Project Coordinator for the Envision Saint Agnes Hospital Project. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor of Visual Art for Saint Augustine’s University. Linda has a Bachelor of Science from Howard University and a Master of Product Design from North Carolina State University.

 

She is a native of Detroit, Michigan.
